COVID-19 PIVOT PLAN:
While we aren't quite ready to gather in one place, we believe our mission to build community, support local artisans, and beautify spaces in Animas City can still happen. Here's what's up:
THE GREAT ANIMAS CITY PASSEGGIATA
We'll see you on the streets on the last Wednesday of the month 5-8 pm from June till September for the Passeggiata, a neighborhood stroll, using our new mobile-enabled map, and our twist on an Italian tradition that is the perfect solution to physically-distant fun.
Wednesday July 29th Schedule
5-6 p.m. Eat, drink and be merry at Union Social House, Zia, Birds, Cream Bean Berry, and La Hacienda
6-8 p.m. The Curbside Circus performs amazing aerial stunts and circus feats at Mountain Middle School (108 W. 31st Street)
6-8 p.m. The Batacuda Ensemble plays outside the Animas Museum (3065 W. 2nd Ave)
6-8 p.m. Devin Scott the Ukelele Master strolls the streets of Animas City
6-8 p.m. Barnyard Fun live petting zoo hosted by Poppy the Goat and her family (3018 W. 4th Ave)
6-8 p.m. Live painting and outdoor pop-up gallery in the Animas Alley
All evening:
Locally handcrafted prizes refreshed every hour at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m.). Hint, hint- look for the colorful cairns!
The Purple Ice Cream truck will be in the neighborhood delivering socially distanced frosty goodness.
Stop by the Wishing Tree (2999 W. 2nd Ave) to make a wish or catch some shade, or grab something interesting to read at the Animas City Book and Idea Exchange.

All summer long be on the look out for gorgeous flowers and pop-up art at the space around the Durango Smoke Shop (2876 Main Ave), our intended 2020 season location.
